9th August - Envoy Media buys Diplomat
Envoy Media Limited is pleased to announce that it had today purchased the oldest diplomatic magazine in the world, The Diplomat.
Envoy Media Limited is wholly owned by Pasture Bay Publishing, which is owned and run by the brother & sister team of Hugo and Venetia de Blocq van Kuffeler. Mr. de Blocq van Kuffeler was formally of Huveaux PLC, the London publisher of The House Magazine & Dod’s Parliamentary Companion. Miss de Blocq van Kuffeler has a background in both book and magazine publishing and formerly worked for Riverhead Books in New York.
For the past 60 years, The Diplomat has provided essential reading for the diplomatic community in London, covering foreign affairs, interviews with ambassadors and London lifestyle. Along with its well established history, The Diplomat is an excellent brand name.
